SHEILA WATKINS, RDA
Office Manager

I have been employed here since 1997. I started out as Dr. Brooks dental assistant and I am currently the office manager. However, I do still love to assist Dr. Brooks from time to time. So you may see me at the front desk helping with your appointments and insurance or possibly helping with your dental treatment. I graduated from Ralls High School and moved to Lubbock shortly after. I attended South Plains College prior to starting to work here in the dental office and I received my EMT certification from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in December 2000. I married my best friend in March of 1999. His name is Travis. We have a son, Taylor, and a daughter, Brylee. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My family and I are active members at Southcrest Baptist Church. I absolutely love my job here. We work so well together that we are more than co-workers, we are a family! I truly value the relationships I have formed with many patients over the years.

LINDA SCOTT, RDH
Hygienist

I graduated from Amarillo College and received my Dental Hygiene license in 1976. I have lived in Lubbock since 1982. I have been employed by Dr. Brooks since 1994. He sort of acquired me when he bought the practice from Dr. Daryl Henderson. My husband, Sonny, passed away in 2005. With no immediate family in this area, my coworkers and patients have become my extended family. I feel extremely blessed by God to have such wonderful people in my life. I love what I do. I enjoy forming relationships with my patients, and I love the feeling that I make a difference. Whether it is teaching someone how to care for their oral health, or helping them overcome the anxiety that is often a part of the dental visit, I feel proud of the things I have accomplished. And of course, each evening I am greeted by my precious Patsy, my Boston “terror”, when I get home.
